In my new series, Drawing Down the Moon, I will be exploring all things lunar, starting with this Full Moon in Sagittarius just as we welcome Jupiter into Cancer.
In this episode, I share my inspiration for this new series, things I learned at NORWAC, specifically from the work shared by the inimitable Demetra George, and how the moon is helping to mediate the relationship between Saturn and Jupiter as this initial square between them perfects.
I reference Aglaonice of Thessaly, an astronomer from 2nd or 3rd Century BC Greece and one of the “women who draw down the moon”, as the earliest recorded predictor of eclipses.
